remember the song “Cat’s in the Cradle”? boomer fathers got a whole-ass hit song with a cautionary tale about parental relationships. instead of using it to change their behavior, they took it to mean their own fathers probably felt bad.

the tragedy of zoomers is they didn’t have a derogatory word for rich kids who went to an all-boys school and then became keen to african american vernacular english in order to overuse it.

i’m really happy there’s a big push away from twitter right now. a bit overdue. bluesky is an imperfect destination, but any move toward federation is the right move right now.
currently, the brid.gy fed handle is over at @quix.lol.web.brid.gy . this also seems like an imperfect solution, but this is all SO new right now.
